Yes! If your power company offers any rebates for solar sun screens we can help you obtain that rebate. Only installers that have ROC licenses can help their clients obtain rebates.
Yes. In 2023 we pursued and obtained a license with the ROC. We have full business insurance with great policies. You can be sure that you are protected when you choose to contract with Captain Ron’s.
We offer custom-built solar screens, bug screen replacement, sliding screen doors, carport and patio screen panels, roll-down shades, screen repair, and exterior/ interior window cleaning.
This depends on the time of year. In the hotter months the lead time on custom screens and material is longer than it is in the cooler months. Typically we can get your screens made and installed within 4 weeks or less from the time of signature.
Yes. There are many color options available for both the frame and the actual screen. The frames come in colors that are designed to coincide with the colors that window manufacturers use. The color of your frame and the color of your screen are your choice and do not reflect in the overall cost of your new screens.
You get to answer that question. Remember that we are measuring the amount of heat that is transferred through your windows. We see most people choosing 90%, but in some cases when more light is desired or sun screens are just being installed to protect turf, 80% is a better fit. We will always have samples available so you can make an informed decision.

The screen manufacturers warranty their products for 10 years. We have seen screens last for 15 years with routine cleaning and maintenance. We recommend your sun screens be cleaned and conditioned annually for appearance and longevity.
Typically the East, West and South as those are exposed to the most sun. Many clients choose to have all their windows screened for aesthetics and added privacy.
